INTERPRETER NEEDED

Interpreter search: Looking for a skilled ASL interpreter for a growing
Deaf ministry in a church in Beaver County.
Please read over the specifics of the job and considerations.
If you have an interest please respond with the following information:
Your name and contact information
Your qualifications
A statement of interest

Job considerations:
1. Looking for a qualified interpreter to interpret church sermons.
Although our preference is to find someone willing to commit to 2 Sundays a
month, we would consider a commitment of once a month. ( On longer months
there is also an options of a second or third Sunday.)
2. A team of 2-3 interpreters will alternate Sundays to insure that every
Sunday there is a service available to the Deaf.
3. The church service is approximately an hour and 15 min. long. However the
interpreter position will only be responsible for interpreting the sermon
( which includes opening, closing and prayers) this would total about 45
minutes.
4. The pay rate is $100 a Sunday sermon, all inclusive.
5. The church is located in Chippewa, Beaver County.
Please Consider the following before responding:
* Is the travel distance managable for you?
*Do you have strengths in understanding and interpreting the Bible and
church sermons?
*Do you feel you would be able to commit to a minimum of 1 year? (
consistency and dependability are important to the ministry although our
preference would be a year, we would be willing to discuss a lesser time
period)
* Does supporting a growing Deaf ministry sound appealing to you?
